George Kittredge, a graduate of the University of Virginia, has over 25 years experience in sales, marketing, business development and management. During his career he has held positions from a sales representative, branch sales manager, Regional Vice-President, Vice-President of Corporate Development, Vice-President and Senior Vice-President/Director of Marketing and Business Unit President. During a period from 1986 to 2001, he championed three new business ventures for the companies he was employed with.
In 1999, Mr. Kittredge's marketing efforts resulted in national recognition by the prestigious Kiplinger Letter for the products that he was promoting.
He has managed sales forces as large as 110 professionals, a twelve-person marketing team as well as personally executed the total marketing and sales efforts for smaller companies. His areas of expertise include client development, sales, marketing strategy and implementation and business strategy.
The information presented in the book he has published with WME Books There's A Fine Line Between A Groove And A Rut is the result of Mr. Kittredge's personal selling, marketing and business management experience with the acknowledgment of the many colleagues and mentors who have helped him along the way.
Most recently, Mr. Kittredge has provided marketing counsel to entrepreneurs planning to start new businesses and small business owners, including WME Books. He also has conducted training sessions and interactive workshops on how to effectively promote one's business, products and services, drawing on a number of ideas presented in this book.
